My Requirements

I am looking for a full time nanny to help with my girls, 5 days per week (not at weekends).

I am looking for in the region of 35-40 hours per week. The best start date would be mid-August, during the school holidays, to get familiar with everything before the girls start school in September. There is some flexibility on this start date (could be sooner or later for the right candidate).

Ideally, you would perform the role would be on a live-out basis, with you living nearby locally. However, I have enough bedrooms (which are ensuite) that a live-in arrangement would also be considered.

Your key duties will be:
- Supporting mornings with getting the girls ready for school, breakfast, and supporting any morning homework or other activities
- Taking the girls to school on some days
- Household tasks such as laundry, tidying shopping, and errands; plus assisting me with admin. I have a cleaner separately, so the role will not be heavy on cleaning.
- Collecting the girls after school or following after-school clubs
- Meal preparation and bath time
- Homework support.

You must have a driving licence and a good driving history, as the role will involve driving the girls to and from school on some days (about a 15 mins journey each way), and other general driving. I will provide a car, if you do not have your own.

I work from home around 3 days per week and spend the other 2 days per week in the office in London. If you are living out, then ideally you would be able to stay overnight for one weeknight per week, and care for the children, to facilitate me staying in London that night for work. The actual night of the week may vary, but would typically be a Monday or Tuesday night.

There is some flexibility in the proposed hours. Mornings would probably begin at 07:00. After school pick up varies between 15:30-17:00. Bedtime is around 20:00. This means you would have some free time during the day time, so this might suit someone who is studying, for example.

Also essential is that you like dogs. I have 3 gentle and affectionate whippets.

I offer a competitive rate of pay, plus paid holiday of 6 weeks plus public holidays. The house is a lovely place to work and has a swimming pool, tennis court and woodland.

The girls are absolute darlings and everyone falls in love with them!
