My Experience

I have over 10 years of diverse experience working in education across various settings. My main occupation has been as an EFL/TESOL teacher, where I have taught learners of different ages, levels, and backgrounds — from young children as young as three to adults. While I enjoy working with all age groups, my main focus has been on children, tailoring lessons to their individual needs and supporting their growth in a positive and engaging environment.

My teaching career has taken me to Ukraine, Sweden, and the UK, giving me a strong international perspective and adaptability in multicultural classrooms. In addition to regular teaching, I have also worked as a leading teacher in a summer camp, where I was responsible not only for language instruction but also for the overall guidance, care, and supervision of children in a dynamic learning environment.

Alongside my teaching experience, I spent one year in Sweden as an au pair, living with a host family and caring for two children aged three and six. My responsibilities included preparing meals, organizing activities, helping with homework, and ensuring the children’s daily routines ran smoothly. This full-time, live-in experience strengthened my childcare skills and deepened my understanding of children’s needs in both educational and home settings.

My Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology and Teacher Training, and I have also earned a TESOL certificate, which has strengthened my expertise in teaching English to speakers of other languages.
I consider myself a lifelong learner and continuously expand my knowledge through professional development courses and additional certifications, staying committed to growth.

My Availability

I am flexible time-wise and open to both part-time and full-time opportunities, as well as live-in or live-out arrangements. I am also able to consider permanent and long-term contracts, depending on the needs of the family or organization.

As I love traveling and pursuing occasional part-time projects, I value a family that is open to planning and agreeing on schedules in advance. I am fully responsible and committed when caring for children, and I believe mutual trust and flexibility are important. This way, the arrangement works well for both sides, ensuring that the family’s needs are met while also allowing me to maintain balance.

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
