About Me

CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. I’m Gen, a newly qualified midwife, taking a break from clinical work to enjoy some time after training.
I’m very active, so boisterous children don’t scare me-I think fun is important! I enjoy creating activities that help kids learn in different ways, always tailoring them to their age or interests. By communicating closely with parents and following your style, I aim to support children while keeping things fun and consistent at home.

My Experience

Over the years I’ve gained lots of experience in care. As a teenager, I worked as a dance teaching assistant for young people with special needs. Before and during Covid, I was a nanny for two lovely children (aged 6 and 9), and I also have three years of experience with newborns from my midwifery degree. On top of that, I often babysit my toddler nieces, so I’m very used to little ones! My skills mean I’m confident with mealtimes, bedtime and bathing routines, as well as other everyday needs parents may have.

My Qualifications

I have an extensive background regarding my education, having just qualified as a midwife (1st, BSc Hons), 3 A-C A levels and 10 A*-B GCSEs. I also hold an enhanced DBS (updated 2025), full UK driving licence (2022) with my own car, and have extensive training in paediatric, neonatal and adult first aid, resuscitation and safeguarding. Plus, I’m pretty good at helping with homework too!
