About Me
Hi, I’m Kellie! I am married and have a 2 year-old. I moved to Northern Ireland in 2016 from the states when I married my NI husband. We have a home from home setting with a variety of wooden toys, puzzles, books and crafts for all ages.
I’m passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to grow and flourish into their unique individual self. Every child is valued and welcomed in our home and their health and well-being, along with learning through play will be at the heart of everything I do.
I’m also a part of NICMA, the childminding Association, which is the professional membership body for registered childminders.
Our weekly schedule includes outings to parks, play cafes, tots groups and the library. Monthly trips to farms, zoo, aquarium and much more included in fees.
My Experience
I have over 15 years experience caring for children of all ages including working in a nursery, being a nanny and babysitting. I also worked for a great charity in Belfast that facilitated personal development programs for young girls and teens. These programs focused on building confidence and resilience.
