About Me
A busy family in St Helens is seeking a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Nanny to help look after their six children (ranging from 14 years old down to 18 months). This is a one week on, one week off position with room for flexibility. The role is for 3 days per week, working 12-hour shifts on a rota that starts each Thursday, with Sundays off. You’ll work opposing shifts with another Nanny to ensure six days of continuous cover. Some weekend work will be required, and flexibility in hours is essential.
5 of the 6 children in full time education, this is a solo and a shared care role.

Responsibilities
Childcare & Supervision: Provide attentive, nurturing care for children aged 1 to 14 years old. This includes meal preparation, hygiene routines, playtime, and ensuring a safe environment.
Education & Fun: Assist with homework for school-aged children and engage the younger ones in educational and creative play activities.
School Runs: Manage drop-offs and pick-ups for children attending full-time school.
Personal Assistant Duties: Organise schedules and appointments for the children, communicate with schools as needed, and maintain clear records for the family.
Handover & Communication: Work closely with the other Nanny, providing clear written and verbal handovers so each shift runs smoothly.
Travel & Events: Occasionally travel with the family and supervise the children on outings, holidays, and day trips. These costs are covered by the family.
Light Household Tasks: Keep children’s areas tidy, organise their belongings, and plan age-appropriate activities. The family also employ a full time housekeeper and cleaner.
Full Driving Licence & Own Vehicle: Essential for school runs, extracurricular activities, and potential travel requirements.
Native Speaking & Understanding of English: Required for effective communication, homework help, and liaising with educational providers.
Flexibility: Availability to work some weekends, longer shifts, and travel if required.
Experience: Previous childcare or nannying experience is highly desirable. Experience with a range of ages is a plus.
