Registered Childminder Job in Leatherhead
About Me
About our daughter
Our daughter Evelyn will be 3 years old in October 2026. Our current childminder is finishing work in July, so we are now looking for a new childminder for her.
Evelina is an energetic, gentle and sensitive little girl. She enjoys active play, running around and exploring, but she is also able to focus well, listens carefully and has good concentration for her age. She learns very quickly and understands everything very well.
Her speech is currently developing actively. As she is growing up bilingual (Russian/Ukrainian and English), she has some small language difficulties at the moment, but she communicates her needs well, understands instructions easily and is very bright and teachable. We simply want to continue supporting her development with attention and regular interaction.
She is still in the process of potty training — we have started practising, but she still uses nappies. She is also still breastfeeding, although usually settles much better and breastfeeds less the more comfortable she becomes with the childminder and environment.
She eats a normal variety of foods and has a peanut allergy.
Schedule
As I am currently self-employed and have a flexible schedule, it would be ideal to start with half days to help Evelyn gradually adapt to a new childminder and environment. In the future, we would potentially like to extend this to full days, approximately 9:00am–5:00pm. We are flexible and happy to discuss arrangements.
My Requirements
What we are looking for
We would love a gentle and supportive settling-in experience where she can gradually become comfortable spending time independently, continue developing her English, and interact with other children in a calm and caring environment.
