Hi, I’m Maya! I recently graduated with a First-class degree in English Literature and Spanish from the University of Bristol and will be starting a MSc in Gender, Development and Globalisation at LSE in September.
My Experience
I have a wide range of experience working with children and young people in different settings. I worked as a full-time au pair in Spain for two months, where I cared for an autistic child, supported them throughout the day, and also carried out fun activities. For three years, I also volunteered as a Brownie leader, planning activities and helping to create a fun and safe environment for the group of young girls. I also spent a year in Colombia working for a leading women's rights NGO; this involved working with young people and girls, supporting workshops and community projects, as well as running educational sessions. I’m responsible, patient, and creative, and I really enjoy helping children to learn, play, and feel confident.
My Qualifications
I have a First-class BA in English and Spanish and will be starting an MSc in Gender, Development and Globalisation.
My Availability
I will be completing a MSc from September onwards so I will be available Mon-Fri every evening.
