My Experience

I worked as a cabin counsellor and outdoors instructor at a sleepaway camp in the USA during the summer, living with 8-10 children in cabin and teaching classes for 7-17 year olds. I would run 5 activity periods a day, each tailored to the age group and skills etc of the children in the class. I would also supervise a cabin of 8 girls, making their safety and enjoyment of camp a priority.
My work experience as a student was in a primary school, which I reslly enjoyed, encouraging me to look for employment in the childcare industry. I have also been a babysitter for family and friends since 2019.

My Qualifications

I have an enhanced DBS check allowing me to work with children, which I obtained for my job working at a children's summer camp.

I have just completed my A Level exams, obtaining ABB in English Language, English Literature and Classical Civilisations. I am currently studying at undergraduate level at the University of Edinburgh

My Availability

As I am a student, I have a very flexible schedule, and am free most evenings and weekends.
