Hi, I’m Bea! I’ve recently moved to Bath to study at Norland College as I work towards becoming a Norland Nanny. I grew up on the Isle of Wight and have always had a passion for working with children and supporting their development. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, keeping active at the gym, and cheerleading. I also love reading and finding new ways to expand my knowledge. A particularly meaningful experience for me was volunteering in Bali and South Africa, where I spent a month in each country working in orphanages and supporting children in their daily lives. These opportunities deepened my commitment to childcare and gave me valuable insight into different cultures and ways of life.
My Experience
I have one year of experience working in a nursery within the baby room, where I supported the daily care and development of infants. Alongside this, I have provided childcare as a summer nanny and have worked with several families as a babysitter for children aged 0–10, gaining strong skills in adapting to different routines and family needs. In addition, I have volunteered in orphanages in both Bali and South Africa, further developing my ability to care for children in diverse settings and to create nurturing, supportive environments.
