Hi! My name is Darcey I’m 21 years old and a proud mom of two – a 4-month-old and a 4-year-old.
Having little ones of my own has given me hands-on experience with all stages of early childhood, from newborn care to toddler hood and everything in between! I know how important it is to create a safe, caring, and fun environment for children, and I bring that same love and patience to every family I work with.
My 4-month-old son will be with me while I care for your child(ren). He's a calm and easygoing baby, and I’m experienced in balancing his care while giving full attention to other kids. I always make sure every child in my care feels safe, seen, and well looked after.
If I’m babysitting on a weekend, my son won’t be with me.
My Experience
I have 2 sons; a 4 month old and a 4 year old , I also have a 9 year old nephew and a 9 month old nephew.
As a mum I’ve gained hands on experience with all the ups and downs of early childhood, I absolutely love being around children. Their creativity, curiosity, and unique personalities make every day so special.
My Qualifications
While I don’t have formal childcare qualifications, becoming a full-time mom to my two little ones has been the most hands-on, real-life training I could ever ask for. Caring for a newborn and a toddler every day has taught me more than any course ever could — from patience and problem-solving to understanding children’s needs on a deep, personal level. Being a mum is my greatest qualification, and I bring that same love, care, and responsibility to the children I look after.
