Hello my name is Marissa. I have worked with children and young people for the past few years in both teaching and pastoral environments. I hold an enhanced DBS check, am first-aid trained and have received safeguarding training for working with children and young adults as well as training for working with children with learning differences.
I am a friendly and energetic person who enjoys working with children, whether this be reading, making crafts, baking, or just simply playing! Over the past few years I have volunteered as an English tutor for Ukrainian children and teenagers looking to improve their English in a fun, accessible and trauma-informed manner, and have volunteered with a charity who provide home visits for children with learning differences who waiting for alternative education provisions.
