About Me
Hi there, my name is Andy and my wife is Jade. We have a 3 year old son called Miles and are currently considering options for his childcare. Miles hasn't had any experience thus far with childcare as he was born with an underlying health condition which meant he had a procedure at 2.5 years old and we needed to shield him from childhood respiratory viruses for the first 2 years of his life. I work full time as an Engineer and my wife has cared for Miles full time for the past 3 years but her current health has made this hard and we are now requiring some part time help.
My Requirements
We require someone to ideally care and support Miles 2 days per week - approx 8 or 9am to 5pm (this is flexible). This can be from our home in Yate or if you live close by, at your home. Miles is currently learning about potty training and doing very well but isn't formally completely trained. Because of his health, Miles has had limited experience with other young children but in times when he has done so, has handled it really well. Miles does have limited speech but is very vocal and can understand everything adults say. He has no problem in expressing what he wants and needs. We ideally want a childminder with a fair bit of experience and someone understanding, kind, nurturing and supportive.
