I’m a very fun and enthusiastic person and the little ones will definitely have a great time during under my care.
I like to time to time do new childcare courses and make sure I’m up to date as the world changes every day and there are always new things to learn.
I know from personal experience how important it is for a parent to make the right choice when looking for childcare. I provide a warm and friendly home-based childcare service, which also offers parents flexibility to meet their needs.
My care services incorporate regular outings, and educational activities that help your child learn through play; and are designed to support the national educational framework for the foundation phase.
DAILY RATES INCLUD ALL MEALS
The food is freshly prepared. A weekly menu is provided, and a special diet is available upon request.
My Experience
I have over eighteen years experience working as a nanny, babysitter and childminder for local families in Kensal Green/Kensal Rise/Queens Park-London with children ranging in age from new born to 10 year olds. Was a voluntary in a local nursery during the time I was doing my childcare course and I am also a mother of three! Two daughters eight and eleven years old and a ten months old baby boy.
I have excellent references from families I have worked with; which are available on request.
My Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
-Level 3 Cache Diploma in Early Years Education
-Level 2 certificate for children and young people workforce
-Current paediatric first-aid certificate
-Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclousure
-Level 2 Food Hygiene
-Fist Steps in Childcare (this is a building block for level 2 certificate for children and young people workforce.
-Brazilian Ensino Medio (UK equivalent of A-levels) Portuguese, Literature, English, History, Geography, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Philosophy, Sociology and Spanish.
LANGUAGES
Fluent Portuguese and English.
Working knowledge in Spanish
My Availability
I am available for chilminding Monday to Friday full day from 8am to 6pm and every evening for babysitting at your home from 7pm. ( I can be flexible about time)
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees are:
Full day - £65
Babysitting - £12 per hour

My daughter, Olivia, faces developmental delays due to a brain bleed at birth. Every milestone is hard-won; she sat independently at 1.5 years old and only recently began walking at 2.5 years old. Through every single step of this challenging journey, Katia has been there. She has loved Olivia unconditionally and provided unwavering support.
Katia’s patience, knowledge, and deep respect for children are nothing short of amazing. I truly could not navigate the complexities of parenting my wonderful girl without her. She is definitely gifted with the qualities that make an exceptional caregiver. We are forever grateful to have found her.

Katia has proven to be an incredible caregiver for my toddler—truly a blessing. I'm grateful to have chosen her over a fancy nursery. Katia quickly grasped my son's needs and adjusted accordingly, a level of understanding that took us a year to achieve. Her experience and dedicated efforts deserve commendation. Remarkably, my son hasn't shed a tear under her care; he feels secure, experiencing an environment, like the one we provide at home. A heartfelt thank you to Katia for her patience and understanding.

You and your family are also a blessing to me. It’s so great to be part of your little’s first years and see how well and quickly he’s settling.
Thank you for choosing me and specially for trusting me.
I would not trust anyone else with my children! She is an absolute star with little ones...
My son has been going to her for 3 years and he adores her. I always have my heart at peace because I know he is loved and looked after. She always serves nutritious homecooked meals and there is a plus with language as she has been speaking Portuguese to my son (upon our request) and he is now speaking a third language.
I am now sending my second-born to her too and I am sure he is going to be happy, too.
