My Summary
About Me
I am a responsible, caring, and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for working with children. Through my academic background in education and hands-on experience supporting children in school and home settings, I have developed strong skills in creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments. I enjoy planning fun and creative activities that support children’s learning and development, while also being attentive to their individual needs. Families often describe me as reliable, patient, and approachable, and I take pride in building positive relationships with both children and parents.
My Experience
I have gained valuable experience working with children through my time in primary schools and early years settings, where I supported pupils in both learning and play. I have also worked closely with children with additional needs, such as autism, which has strengthened my ability to adapt activities and provide inclusive care. Alongside this, I have taken on responsibilities in mentoring and helping to create safe, positive environments that encourage children to grow in confidence. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of how to balance fun and structure, while ensuring the wellbeing of every child in my care.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying Education at the University of Leeds, where I have built a strong foundation in child development, learning theories, and inclusive education. As part of my studies, I have completed a foundation year in social sciences and gained further insight into early years education and the importance of supporting children’s individual needs. Alongside my academic work, I hold safeguarding knowledge and an awareness of health and safety when working with children, ensuring I can provide responsible and attentive care.
