About Me
Hello! My name is Jake. I am a PhD student at the University of Bristol. I have been working in education and childcare for 10+ years. I belive education is a unique and personal journey, so I will always listen to the needs of my students and do everything I can to make sure learning is interesting and exciting! I love discovering what makes a student tick and planning lessons around their interests. I have worked in primary schools, secondary schools and in outdoor education, so have many tools for engaging students of any age in their learning process!
I am a writer and avid-reader of both fiction and non-fiction. I am a hiker and cyclist who recently rode 3000km across Central America. I am also a musician and music producer. These interests can enter as much or as little into the educational space as needed, depending on the interests of the student!

10+ years of teaching including: TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), Primary and Secondary education (including SEN and SEMH educational settings), Private tutoring (in English Literature, English Language, Spanish, Philosophy and Ethics, Music, Literacy and KS3 Science).

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
For private tutoring, I charge £30/hr, with discounts for longer sessions and inclusion of childcare hours that are not teaching.
