About Me
Im a caring and hard working person, i love to offer help when its needed. I want to be able to support other people with their needs and help them when it comes to children with special needs, as i say, its a full-time job in itself when your a carer for a special needs child and it can be really difficult doing it on ur own. Thats why i would really love to be able to help and contribute my skills to someone else and help them get some time to just feel like a person again and not have to worry every second.
Im also willing to obtain a dbs check if required.
My Experience
I have an autistic/non verbal brother with achondroplasia, i learn everyday how to adapt to his needs, understand his feelings and be patient when he needs my help when it takes a little understanding to what he wants and needs to make him calm down from an autistic meltdown.
My Qualifications
I don’t have professional experience with working with children with special needs but i do have personal skills I’ve enhanced since caring for my special needs brother, such as, patience, empathy, problem-solving, ability to handle challenging situations, adaptability, communication. Im willing to partake in any courses/training that would better suit this position.
My Availability
My availability is completely flexible and i can be available all the time except from overnight.
