About Me
I always loved working with children. In sixth form I did the two level 3 courses which was child play leaning and development and health and social care. At that time I was babysitting my nieces and nephews which is when I realised I loved working with children. I started my first placement in a nursery and quickly realised this is the career that I want. I then furthered my studies and went to university while working in an early years setting. I have experience in schools, early years settings such as nursery and looked after my nieces and Nephews. Because I made positive relationships with the parents at my old nursery I kept in contact and babysit their children.
My Experience
I have experience working in independent nurseries supporting child development by following the EYFS and creating a fun and safe environment for the children to learn and grow. During my time in nurseries I did circle time , learning about different languages, how we are feeling , the weather etc. I have also built relationships not only with the children but also the parents. My time at nurseries has allowed me to grow confidence in nappy changes , potty training, activities and bed time. On top of my experience in nurseries I babysat some of the children that attended the nursery, during this time I supervised them during meal times, entertained them , gave snacks, picked them up from school and put them to sleep. I have previous experience working in school where I was a TA and helped children in the mainstream classroom and supported the children.
