About Me
Hello! I’m a friendly and reliable babysitter who enjoys working with children. I’m new to working 1–1 but have experience looking after large groups of children.
I’m happy to work flexible hours as I’ve just finished my university course and am remaining in Exeter until mid to late July, so I have a lot of availability to suit your needs in the upcoming summer period.
As I’m just here for the summer I sadly cannot make long term commitments so If you need one off baby sitting I’d be a great fit for you.
I’m also happy to assist with play activities, bedtime routines, homework or anything else within reason.
If you need some general housekeeping done as well I’m more than willing to help.
Ideally I’d be most comfortable looking after kids aged between 5 and 10.
My Experience
Previously I’ve worked as a volunteer at my local play scheme with Torfaen County Borough over the summer as a play worker. Planning activities and safeguarding for up to 60 kids at a time from ages 6 to 10. I was awarded volunteer of the summer for 2023.
I returned to this play scheme as a paid play worker for the summer of 2025, and was awarded the Inclusive Practice Award for my site for ensuring kids of all abilities and backgrounds were able to participate in activities in which ever way they wanted and/or needed.
As part of these roles I have undergone an enhanced DBS check, my most recent one in July of 2025.
For these roles I also completed safeguarding courses such as fire safety, PREVENT, and VAWDASV.
My Qualifications
I don’t possess formal child minding certifications. However as part of my experience with local play schemes I have undergone an enhanced DBS check, my most recent one in July of 2025.
Additionally for these roles I also completed safeguarding courses such as fire safety, PREVENT, and VAWDASV, both online and in person.
My Availability
From 21/06/25 through to 03/07/35 I have complete flexibility, I’m willing to work mornings, day time, or evenings.
Having finished university recently I have no other time commitments during the above period. other than the occasional driving lesson.
I then have further availability from 10/07/25 through to 17/07/25 though I have some commitments on the 14th and 15th so would need to discuss what times I can work on those days.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
No specific fees.
I’m keeping my rate low as I’m aware that despite working with large groups of children before I’m not an experienced babysitter.
