Alison looked after our daughter for over 2.5 and is honestly the best childminder we could have asked for. She cared for her like she was her own. Daphne absolutely loved going, and would run in every morning with a big smile in her face. She used to be quite shy, but has really grown in confidence. They went out most days, to the park, the library, and sometimes even the beach! She was encouraged to try new things, eat new foods and really came out of her shell. Every day they did different activities, learning all about colours, cooking, counting, singing, writing her name. You name it, they did it. She would come home with great stories of what they'd been upto. This has really set her up well for school and she went in on her first day really happy. The teachers have fed back how capable she is - eating, going to the toilet herself, recognising numbers and letters. She can already read most 3 letter words, count beyond 20 and pretty much write her name, all thanks to Alison. We couldn't be more grateful for everything they've done for her and Daphne misses Alison a lot.
