Hi there. I am a 29 year old childcare practitioner. I have over five years experience in professional childcare settings along with several years personal experience caring for friends and family.
I am caring and nurturing. I am extremely organised and professional and strive to do my best in everything I undertake.
I offer full or part time childcare including homework help, activities such as swimming, a variety of play methods, meal prep and light housekeeping. I can offer school pick up and/or drop off.
I love working with children, I have a background in drama and love using this when working with children. Some activities I have carried out in the past include messy play, baking, outdoor play and drama workshops. I have my own transport with a clean licence and have experience taking children on field trips such as museums, parks and activity centres.
My Experience
I have experience with children of all ages from newborns to primary age (up to 12).
I have worked in a nursery and out of school care for the last five years working with children from six months to twelve years old.
I also have experience working with newborns within my own family along with working with children with various special needs within a professional setting.
My Qualifications
I am SSSC registered, I have an SVQ in social services (children and young people) SCQF level 7. I also have a full PVG record.
I am first aid trained and have completed various courses and training including a course in dealing with challenging behaviour.
