About Me
I am a 23 year old outgoing, caring, hardworking trained support worker currently studying for my masters at Kent university and have just moved to Kent with my family. I am looking for PA work around my studying hours (evenings, some weekdays and weekends). I have worked as a carer/support worker for children and young adults with a wide variety of needs for 6 years. I worked in a respite centre but have also supported many families privately outside of this. This career has never been something i've wanted to pursue full time however I have such a passion for it and love what I do, so i've always tried to keep it a part of my life alongside everything else I do.
My Experience
6 years of special needs care experience working in a respite centre, play & youth schemes, after school clubs and private home care for children and young adults with a wide range of needs (specialising in ASD and sensory needs). Up to Date Training; First Aid, Epilepsy, Buccal Midazolam, Paraldehyde, Epi-Pen, Manual Handling, Hoist Trained, Safe guarding, Fire safety, Food Hygiene, Makaton stage 1 & 2, Gastronomy, Medication Awareness, Safety Intervention.
My Qualifications
9 GCSE's A*-B, Drama and Maths A-level, Health & Social Care Btech level 3 (Distinction*), BA(Hons) - First Class Degree in Musical Theatre.
My Availability
My uni hours consist of lectures on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays in the day time, weekends, other weekdays and evenings are free, times may vary in crucial assessment times and would appreciate some flexibility where needed.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
I am quite flexible with my fees and open to discussion, just looking for extra money to help fund me through my studies
