Lorraine's Childminding Service
Hi my is Lorraine, Ofsted Re-Registered Childminder and parent of 2 grown children.
I enjoy going to church on Sunday, I share an allotment we are learning to grow fruits and vegetables. I also enjoy DIY being creative, reading and going for walking.
I live in Keresley the North West area location in Coventry near fields, shops, local schools, primary and secondary schools.
I have lots of years of childcare experience.
I first childminded in 2011 till 2022. I got Ofsted Graded GOOD 3 times in a row.
Also worked in early years nursery in baby room, toddlers and pre-school.
I missed childminding and have Re- registered with Ofsted and had my Ofsted inspection home visit and checks in end part of August 2025. I will get my Ofsted inspection grading when I have started caring for minded children.
My daily routine is children own care and education routine within their age and stage needs, learning through play. We have indoor and out door play. Sensory play and activities, sand/ water/ playdough/ gardening/ story time/ song time/ nap time depending on children age and routine, school/nursery runs, going play groups, parks, trips to farm etc. one to one time, small group. making new friends.
I support parents and provide a safe home from home care and education that follows the EYFS which is the 7 areas of the Early Years foundation stage.
I follow the Ratio of children set out by Ofsted.
Looking forward to getting up and running again with new little one.
My Experience
Self-employed Ofsted Registered childminder for over 11 years took a break from working from home in the covid season.
Re-registered with Ofsted childminder in end of August 2025
Experienced qualified Nursery nurse. Worked as Supervisor, room leader and Nursery worker in baby room, toddlers and pre- school.
Also worked in care homes in the Covid pandemic.

Designated Safeguarding Lead
All other qualifications and training in relation with Childminding which are a requirement with Ofsted and the Coventry City Council Early Years.

Babies, toddlers, pre-school, primary school,
term time, full time, holiday flexible hours and days to support parents.
I offer non funded and funding spaces, Childcare vouchers, working parents and studying parents.
