Barista and coffee lover enjoying being a mum to my beautiful baby boy. Would love to go back to work a couple of days a week for some adult conversation, a little break from “mum mode” and to cover what maternity pay would have provided for our family so that the pressure isn’t all on my fiancé. This would also mean we can continue to maintain life as it is with a tad more structure and balance for us all.
We love getting out for walks, and often meet friends in the park. Unfortunately, due to illness, my son’s grandparents are not really physically able to have my son once I’m back at work anymore and I’d like to have something in place so that we don’t have to worry or get let down at the last minute. This would keep things consistent for my son too. I didn’t initially apply to any nurseries as we didn’t think it was necessary yet but life happened and things have changed…
My Requirements
I would need childcare for at least 2, possibly 3, days a week starting in January 2026 when my son would turn 10 months. We would require funded hours but would like to know a bit more about how this works. Childcare would be required 2/3 weekdays between 9:15/9:30am and 4:45/5pm. I’m not sure which days i’ll be working yet but aim to have this discussion with my boss asap.
