My Experience

Hello, I’m Yvonne, a Doula based in Woodford Green, East London. I’m a married mother of three.

After going through my own childbirth experiences and supporting friends and family during their pregnancies, births, and postnatal journeys, I realised my true passion: empowering women and their partners through childbirth and the early days as parents. It’s what fuels my soul.

I've been supporting families since 2021, experience in supporting various types of births from planned home births to unplanned caesareans.

In addition to antenatal and birth support, I also offer overnight support to families in the local area.

"Yvonne treated our daughter as her own for day 1. Would come in at 10pm and leave at 6am. At first we asked for our daughter to continue sleeping in the room with us and Yvonne would pop in as and when she started to stir. Almost immediately, we trusted Yvonne with her and to have her cot and Nanit camera in the living room to watch over whilst we got some very much needed sleep. Yvonne diligently documented everything that occurred during the night, nappy changes, quantity of feeds, times that she fell asleep in her arms and transferred in the cot. If we ever need help again, Yvonne will be my first call without a second thought. She was mega helpful in offering a trial night to see how things went, and honestly knocked it out of the park. Outside the night shift, Yvonne always made herself available to answer all queries or concerns we had as first time parents.
