About Me

We are a friendly family of four based in N8 looking for a long-term after-school nanny/housekeeper. Our children are 7 and 4 and they love art, reading, Lego, and trains.

We’d love someone who is caring, organised, and enjoys playing with and looking after young children.

After-School Nanny/Housekeeper Wanted (N8)

Hours: 4 days per week, approx. 23 hours
• Monday: 13:00 – 19:00
• Tuesday: 13:00 – 19:00
• Wednesday: 13:00 – 19:00
• Thursday: 14:00 – 19:00

Hours likely to vary upwards each week.

Responsibilities
• Prep dinner for the kids before pickup
• General daily housekeeping, e.g.:
• Unload dishwasher
• Take bins out if full
• Tidy living room and children’s toys/rooms
• Family laundry
• Collect children from Coleridge School (20-min walk or bus)
• Bring them home, take to clubs, play, supervise, and help with bath time
• Occasional overtime for babysitting or holiday cover

Requirements
• Previous childcare or nanny experience
• Caring, reliable, and organised
• Driving is a plus (not essential) – we have a car that we may be able to insure you on

Additional Info
• Core hours are Monday–Thursday afternoons, with the possibility of extra hours if needed.
• Very happy to discuss schedules and flexibility further at the interview.
