My name is Jayda and I’m from Sydney, Australia. I am a responsible, kind, adventurous girl with a positive outlook on life. I’m 22 years old and despite my young age I have many years experience working with children.
I have my first aid and cpr qualifications, as well as anaphylaxis certification, I have my child protection certificate, valid police checks, working with children’s check and swim teaching certificate.
My Experience
After high school in 2021, I started working at a prestigious school, Reddam House After School Care in Bondi, where I quickly earned the responsibility to become coordinator at the centre. I worked at Reddam House for 1.5 years as well as helping out 2 days a week with homeschooling during COVID-19.
In 2022, I then started nannying full time for a family who had a 6 month old baby. My main responsibilities were taking him on outings to the park, organising age-appropriate activities, feeding, putting him down for naps and bathing. While he slept I would help out with basic household duties such as washing and meal prepping. I still casually babysit for this family.
In December 2022 I was offered a full-time nanny job closer to home with more hours. I worked for a family with 3 children aged, 7, 5 and 1. This consisted of Monday-Thursday 10hrs per day. I would get the big kids ready for school, drop them off, pick them up, make lunchboxes, take the baby on outings, put the baby down for naps, take the children to extra curricular activities, bath them and have all 3 children ready for bed once the parents came home from work. I was with this family for 1.5yrs until I got offered a position of being a professional nanny for an UHNW (Ultra High Net Worth) family.
In March 2024 I became a nanny for an UHNW family in Sydney. This was very different to my previous nannying jobs and I quickly learnt and sharpened many skills needed for being a professional nanny. I worked 3, 13hr days a week and on my days off I decided to study my Certificate III in early childhood education and care through TAFE. When I first started working for this family the 3 children were 4 yrs old, 2 yrs old and a 6 month old baby.
My most recent experience, is being a live-in nanny for a lovely family in Fulham with 3 children under the age of 5.
My Qualifications
