My name is Natalie and I am a student at Queen Margaret University where I am studying film and media. I am a calm, creative and attentive person who can provide a safe, nurturing and fun environment for the children under my care. I have experience caring for children from toddlers to teens, adapting my style according to the needs of the child and parents. I enjoy going for walks, doing arts & crafts, teaching, and reading with the children!
I am very flexible, and available to assist parents if they have to work/study from home or want a few hours to themselves. I can help by doing school pick-ups and drop offs if school or nursery is within walking distance. I always follow instructions and guidance of the parents in order that the normal routine is followed.
My Experience
I have been volunteering at Hutchesons Grammar out of school care in my spare time since i was 14 years old, my time there gave me experience working long days with many children where I helped them with homework, served meals, played games with the children and even took them on organised day trips.
Due to my job in film production I have also worked on sets with young children where I have been signed on as their responsible adult meaning I am their legal guardian for the shoot. As sets are also long days I’ve had experience entertaining the children while we are on break, organising their belongings with them, sorting out their meals for the day and helping them run lines all while making it fun.
My Qualifications
I don’t have any professional childcare qualifications but I have a Disclosure document and a PVG.
My Availability
In general my availability is as below, all day Wednesday and Thursday but also Monday, Tuesday and Friday before school.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
My fees are £11/ph but £14/ph on less than 12 hours notice
