About my experience

Hello, my name is Marie and I live in Downton, near Salisbury. I have over 18 years of childcare experience, including many years working as a nanny, where I discovered my love for providing children with individual attention and care.

I am NVQ Level 2 qualified and have cared for children of all ages, from babies through to school-aged children. Over the years I’ve developed strong skills in supporting children’s learning, encouraging their development, and creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment.

Currently, I work in a nursery setting, which has strengthened my organisational skills, patience, and ability to adapt to different needs. However, I truly miss the one-to-one connection of nannying and am now looking to return to this role, where I can build close, trusting relationships with both children and their families.

I am reliable, caring, and creative — whether that’s helping with school routines, organising engaging activities, or simply being a steady and supportive presence. My goal is always to make each child feel safe, valued, and happy.

I am NVQ2 qualified with over 18 years of childcare experience, skilled in child development, creative activities, and nurturing one-to-one care. Experienced with all ages, I bring patience, reliability, and a warm, engaging approach, ensuring children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn and grow every day.
