About Me
We’re Daniel and Emma, first-time parents living in Sheffield with our newborn daughter, Mia, and our small collection of pets who think they run the house. Mia arrived by emergency C-section, so we’re still very much in the early “finding our rhythm” stage — lots of cuddles, lots of feeding, lots of learning as we go.
As a family we’re warm, calm, and relaxed, and we really value creating a safe, gentle environment for Mia while we get used to this new life together. We’re not chaotic or high-pressure people; we just try to meet Mia where she’s at each day and take things step by step.
We’re looking ahead to having occasional childcare support as Emma recovers and we start easing back into a bit of normal life. Anyone who joins us would be welcomed into a kind, down-to-earth home where communication and patience are important.
My Requirements
Our daughter Mia is now seven months old and we’re looking for someone who can become a regular, reliable part of our support network.
We’re hoping to find someone who can spend a few hours with Mia several times a week, giving us a bit of breathing room while providing her with plenty of attention, play, cuddles and company. Initially we’ll usually be at home, but we’d love to find someone who can grow with Mia over time as she becomes more independent.
We’re a very hands-on, responsive family and Mia is a happy, curious little girl who loves people, being talked to and exploring the world around her. We’d love to find someone warm, calm, reliable and confident with babies who is looking for a longer-term arrangement rather than occasional babysitting.
We’re fairly flexible on days and times and are happy to discuss what works best. The most important thing for us is finding the right person who can become a trusted part of Mia’s world and give our family a little extra support each week.
