Hi, I’m Macey! I have over a year of hands-on experience working with children aged 2–5, helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment. I support with school runs, preparing meals, making fun engaging activities for the children and helping with homework.
My Experience
My experience with working with children started at the age of 15, at first i was babysitting for local families. I then branched on to doing an apprenticeship in a local nursery and working with the children there, supporting them with meal times, nappy changes and making sure to prepare fun activities to keep the children entertained and happy. I have experience with working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including children that are non verbal. my age range of children i have worked with is 3 months- 12 years.
My Qualifications
I am fully first aid trained and skilled in supporting children’s daily routines, including mealtimes, nappy changes, and creating engaging activities that encourage learning through play. I also have a Level 3 Early years practitioner qualification, my qualifications and experience have equipped me with patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children can grow and thrive.
My Availability
Monday to Friday, I can be available upon request for some weekends.
