ABOUT ME

Year-round childcare available from Monday – Thursday 7.30am until 4.30pm.

I am located on the Bosden Farm Estate in Offerton.

I have recently registered as a childminder, however, I have many years experience of looking after children.

I have my own two beautiful sons, Jamie aged 13 [Jamie could not speak until he was four years old, so I am ‘au Fei’ with speech difficulties] and Joshua aged 11.

I live with my husband Gareth who is a joiner by trade.

My first main career was cabin crew for 10 years, but, when my boys were babies, I gave up that life to be at home more with them and trained to be a self employed chiropodist.
I always wanted to look after children and because I was self employed and part time, I had the privilege of looking after my nephews along the way.

I love the outdoors and will make sure that I will provide a high-quality learning and nurturing environment with lots of fun and adventures.

We will be visiting local playgroups, soft play, local parks, walks, libraries etc.

We will recognise and include our children in religious celebrations.

I follow the EYFS framework.

My property is secure and we have lots of space for playing and learning.

I will be encouraging all children to become motivated and confident learners.

Healthy food [if requested] will be offered and a menu with a diary will be sent to parents on a weekly basis.

I am registered with Stockport Council and therefore I am able to provide 9 month to 4 years funded childcare.

I attend regular meetings, training courses and webinars to ensure continuing my own professional development.

We will be offering places in January.
