About Me
I am a fun and caring childcare provider who has a passion for working with children. I enjoy creating a fun and safe environment for children to be able to grow and develop their learning and physical skills.
Supporting children's ideas and helping them achieve their goals brings me the greatest satisfaction to see how proud they are of achieving something they had not previously accomplished. I always encourage children to explore different ideas and praise their achievements, even the small ones.
I am able to cook a wide variety of food and encourage children to learn about healthy eating, and also encourage them to take part in the kitchen, learning to make their own balanced meal as well as baking different treats.
As someone who loves the outdoors I think it is important for children to spend time outdoors daily. I love to encourage children to explore the world we live in, motivating them to learn about our environment and how to take care of the things around us.
My Experience
I have worked with children for 12 years in a variety of settings. I have had 4 1/2 years experience working in nurseries with children aged 1 - 4 years old, many with learning difficulties and speech delay. I have 2 years experience working in a crèche with children aged from 3months up to 5 years and have also had over 9 years experience working as a nanny.
My Qualifications
I am paediatric first aid trained and currently finishing an Early Years Educator Diploma.
