About Me

Hello, we're a small family of three, myself, Noah 5 and Rayan 8.
Rayan is very bright, energetic, and very curious. Noah is 5 and has autism. He’s non-verbal, which can feel challenging at first, but he’s very good at showing what he wants once you get to know him. He’s completely mobile, loves being outside and going for walks, and has sensory needs that become second nature to understand with time. I work in healthcare. I share custody of my boys with their dad, and up until now we’ve never had a nanny. For the past two years we’ve managed by coordinating my work schedule with their dad’s, but I’m now in a position where I feel the boys would have a much better quality of life with more stability being at home and in the same routine around school. I’m not entirely sure if what I’m looking for is common, or even exists in the usual sense, but if it’s something you feel you could work with, I’d love to hear from you. I’m very open to suggestions and advice
This is an updated post, as it has proved quite difficult to arrange childcare that fits our family’s needs. Because of this, my work schedule is still being considered, and I’m remaining flexible until the right childcare arrangement is in place.
At the moment, I’m considering a pattern of Monday to Thursday for three weeks, and Monday to Friday for one week each month.
