About Me
My name is Annette. I live in a quiet area of Hornchurch with my husband and our two little two dogs. We live within good proximity of Romford and Elm Park Stations.
I am a new childminder registered with Tiney Childminder Agency and Ofsted registered.
I have over 30yrs of experience of working with children and families providing and ensuring care, safety, health and education needs. I view the early years of a childs life to be of importance to lead towards healthy and happy independence as they grow older.
My aim is to continue to work in partnership with parents and carers and develop good working relationships.
I do have two well behaved little friendly dogs who love childrem however safety is of most importance. Both dogs have been pet risk assessed and as stated in my pet policy they are kept in their own areas via safety gates when children are in the home.
I provide a smoke free home setting to support children's health and to feel safe, happy and confident where they can learn through play and experiences.
My setting allows children outside play during all weather's as we have a covered garden. We are lucky to have Harrow Lodge Park playground within 5min walk, Eastbrook Nature Reserve and Elm park Library who provides group activities. We also have an allotment plot 10 min walk away where children will be supported to grow their own plants and flowers. This creates so many great learning opportunities.
There will also be occasional trips where children can experience bus and train trips which will be risk assessed and planned in advance. We also have an allotment plot where the children will be supported and encouraged to grow vegetables and flowers.
I aim to keep parents and carers updated daily. Parents can also view thier childrens progress and give feedback on the Tiney App.
Children in my care will receive healthy meals and snacks which are included in my fees.
My Experience
I have worked with children all of my working career. I am NNEB nursery nurse qualified and worked in nurseries and schools with children of all ages and abilities including children with special needs for many years.
I then qualified as social worker and worked in
Local Authority Safeguarding Lead roles.
My Qualifications
NNEB trained- worked in nurseries and schools.
Experiance with children with special needs and disabilities (SEND)
DipSw- Safeguarding Lead with Local Authorities.
Paediatric First Aid trained.
EYFS Foundation training

My Availability
Open at 7am til 6pm daily Monday to Friday. Please contact me to discuss as hours may be flexible.
I am available to do breakfast school drop off and pick up and after school care.

- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
£9.00 per hour
£80.00 per day
Includes breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks.

I’m so grateful for the care she gives to my 2-year-old daughter. As a mum, leaving your child with someone else is such a big step, but she has made the whole experience feel so much easier and reassuring.
She is patient, kind and genuinely caring. It’s clear that she really takes the time to understand my daughter and make her feel safe and comfortable. She settled in so well, and every time I pick her up she’s happy, and that means everything to me.
The play area is always clean, colourful and very child-friendly. It’s such a welcoming space, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into making it safe and engaging for little ones. My daughter literally runs straight in as soon as the door opens, which shows how comfortable and safe she feels there.
You can tell she truly cares about the children she looks after. I always feel at ease knowing my little girl is in a loving and secure environment.
I would definitely recommend her to any parent looking for someone trustworthy and nurturing. We feel very lucky to have found her.

I couldn’t be happier with the care our son received. As a child with ASD, it was really important to us that he was looked after by someone patient, understanding, and attentive to his individual needs, and that’s exactly what we found.
Anette created a calm, safe, and nurturing environment where my son felt comfortable and supported. She took the time to understand him, followed routines carefully, and always showed genuine care, patience, and kindness. I saw real progress in his confidence and happiness while he was in her care, which meant so much to me.
Communication was always clear and reassuring, and I felt completely confident knowing my son was in such capable hands. I am incredibly grateful for the care and dedication she showed, and we would highly recommend her to any family, especially those looking for someone experienced and compassionate with children who have additional needs.
