My Requirements

We are looking for someone to work with my 2.5 year old son who has communication delays and suspected autism. He's currently non-verbal but a quick learner - he picks things up through play and demonstration, and loves movement, balls, and spinning.

The role:
- 15-20 hours/week (flexible, ideally 3-4 hours daily Mon-Fri)
- Based at our home in Stevenage
- Start ASAP, looking for long-term (6-12 months minimum)

What we need:
Someone warm and patient who can engage him in play-based interaction while WeI work from home. We use a specific approach that focuses on following his lead and making interaction fun. We'll provide the related information.

About our son:
He doesn't speak yet but understands a lot. He learns brilliantly through observation Eg: we showed him to kick a ball and now he kicks and throws different balls on his own and celebrates himself. He needs someone who'll get on the floor, follow his interests, and build connection through play.
