About Me
Hi! My name is Anna and I am a second-year Politics student at the University of Manchester. I am very creative, energetic and reliable (and DBS checked!). I enjoy working with and have experience working with children of all ages. I am entirely committed to ensuring that the children I am responsible for are happy, comfortable and safe. And most importantly, I want to make sure they have fun, and I am always down for some arts and crafts, board games, reading stories or a game of hide and seek! I am also very enthusiastic about sharing some Italian with them, which I speak fluently.
My Experience
I started babysitting for family friends at the age of 14, and then worked as a children's entertainer at birthday parties for a year.
On my gap year, I volunteered as an English teacher in India, where I taught children between the ages of 2 and 12 and led fun class activities. For two summers in a row, I have worked as an Activity Leader on a summer camp, for children between the ages of 13 and 17, where I have been praised for my reliability, my leadership and my commitment to safeguarding the children.
My Qualifications
I have an International Baccalaureate Diploma (A-Level equivalent) and I am now studying for my undegraduate degree. I have a Level 1 Safeguarding Certification which I acquired for my role as an Activity Leader. I also have a 60-hour TEFL course certificate, which certifies my experience teaching English as a foreign language.
My Availability
I am completely available over the weekends. My week availability depends on my University schedule.
