Hi, I'm Bitta! I’m an Italian student who recently graduated with a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Glasgow and am now pursuing a Master’s in Dementia at UCL. I’m caring, responsible, and reliable, and I truly enjoy spending time with children. Babysitting has always been a joy for me because it’s a chance to mix responsibility with fun, creativity, and learning, all while helping kids feel happy and safe.
I offer babysitting in the afternoons and evenings, with flexible hours around my studies. I can help with school pick-ups, after-school activities, homework, meals, playtime, and bedtime routines. I especially enjoy playing board games, lego, doing puzzles and baking with children. I find it’s a fun way to learn, laugh, and spend quality time together.
I also love tutoring in school subjects or languages! Being fluent in Italian and English (and conversational in French), I can introduce children to new languages through games and everyday activities. My goal is always to make sure children feel supported, safe, and happy, while following the routines set by their parents.
My Experience
I have over three years of ongoing childcare experience with the same family, looking after their primary school-aged son. I helped with school pick-ups, activities, homework, meals, playtime, and bedtime routines. Working with the same child over several years allowed me to build a trusting, close relationship with both him and his family. I’ve also done short-term babysitting and tutoring, which I really enjoy, especially helping children with their schoolwork and encouraging their independence. I only stopped working with this family because I moved away.
My Qualifications
Master’s student in Dementia at UCL; BSc Neuroscience graduate from the University of Glasgow.
