My Requirements

We are looking for an Italian, reliable, responsible, positive and proactive person who would genuinely like to become part of our everyday life. We are not looking for someone for just a few months, but for someone who would like to build a long-term and stable relationship with us and be part of our daughter’s journey as she grows.

For us, this is not simply a job: we are looking for someone we can trust, who can become an important point of reference for our daughter and feel part of our family.

Working hours
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday:
• Monday: 11:00 – 19:30
• Tuesday: 12:00 – 18:00
• Wednesday: 12:00 – 18:00
• Thursday: 12:00 – 19:30
• Friday: 12:00 – 16:00

Occasionally, we may ask for availability on a Saturday or Sunday, always agreed in advance and paid as extra hours.
The working hours are fixed and non-negotiable, so we kindly ask that you only apply if they are fully compatible with your availability.

What would the role involve?

During school hours, the main focus will be looking after and managing the house:
• cleaning and general household care;
• keeping the house organised and tidy;
• laundry when needed;
• keeping the home clean, welcoming and well maintained;
• occasionally, if you wish, spending time with our dachshund and taking him for a walk.

Our daughter finishes school at 3:20pm. From then onwards, you will be responsible for looking after her: preparing her snack, helping with homework, playing together and supporting her afternoon routine.
On Mondays and Thursdays, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, she attends rhythmic gymnastics in E16. You will therefore need to take her there and bring her back home or to the bus stop. We will fully cover the cost of the Oyster top-up for the Zone 3 travel.

The person we are looking for

It is important to us to find someone who genuinely enjoys looking after a home and who is organised, independent and proactive, able to see what needs to be done without having to be constantly guided.

The ideal person:

• is reliable, punctual and responsible;
• has experience managing a household and with domestic cleaning;
• pays great attention to detail and organisation;
• enjoys being around children and has experience with school-aged children;
• speaks Italian and has a good level of English;
• is organised and has a good sense of initiative;
• is looking for a long-term position;
• can provide verifiable references;
• has the necessary right to live and work in the UK;
• can provide invoices for monthly payments.

The collaboration will initially be set up according to the applicable employment and tax status, with monthly payments based on the agreed terms. Before the start of the collaboration, we will agree together on the terms and conditions of the arrangement, in accordance with the applicable UK regulations. We will review the arrangement together over time as the relationship develops.

We would preferably like to hear from people living close to Canning Town, but we are also happy to consider applications from other areas of London, provided you are comfortable with the travel time.
