My Requirements

Our boy is 1 year and 7 months old, with no special conditions. He’s a healthy, typical child for his age.

We need childcare support either in the morning or evening when he awake. We’d like someone who can help our little one feel comfortable and enjoy spending time with a new carer. We prefer not to leave our child in a big group of children at the start. A childminder works best for us, as we’d like the carer to come to our home, play with our child, and support his development. We’re also open to sending our child to the carer’s place, as long as the carer can pick him up since my wife doesn’t drive at the moment. Our boy is usually hesitant with new people, so we’ll need to make sure he feels confident and comfortable going to the carer. Our boy is very energetic and loves to play. He usually rests only when he’s really tired. He is enthusiastic, a quick learner, and very observant, he remembers things well. He has a cheerful, positive nature, and his smile brightens everything around him. He especially enjoys playing with water, like pouring it from one glass to another. When we visit friends with little ones, he loves playing with them too. But surprisingly, he didn’t take to swimming very well, too early though with just two 30-minute sessions.

If the carer can go the extra mile, we’d love for our child to start learning and speaking some English. Right now, he isn’t talking yet, but we’re not too worried about it. He mostly listens to our local language, so the carer should understand that he’ll need support to communicate in English. It would be great if the carer could teach him a few simple English words to help him understand.
