About Me

I am the owner of Hanson Home School Tutoring and am able to support children from EYFS to lower KS2 with phonics, reading, writing, maths and social and emotional skills. I can help to close gaps in learning and boost confidence/self esteem. I tutor face to face in a designated learning environment at my home. I am now pleased to be able to offer daytime tutoring for those being home schooled, which includes one to one, or small groups. I also offer Science/Arts and Craft/Block building and problem solving workshops for those being home schooled. I have relevant risk assessments and policies in place for your peace of mind. During the holidays I offer a small, relaxing and nurturing holiday club for up to six children aged 8+, where we do arts, crafts, stories, puzzles and more. My Experience

I have been teaching for 26 years in a wide range of schools. In this time I have been a key stage lead , maths lead, writing lead, as well as supporting teacher training students. I work with many children with differing needs, including autism, ADHD, PDA and selective mutism. I am trauma informed trained.

My Availability

I have daytime availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for those being home schooled. This includes one to one tuition , group tuition and group workshops. I am currently full for after school sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays but am happy to add new customers to my waiting list. I have one space left on a Thursday at 3.45-4.45 pm.
