My Requirements

Provide loving, attentive care and engaging activities to support our son's development.
Responsibilities include:
- supervise and ensure safety at all times
- plan fun, age-appropriate activities: reading, sensory play, arts&crafts, outdoor exploration, puzzles, building and educational games
- support developmental milestones (motor, cognitive, language, social and emotional skills)
- encourage positive behaviour, independence and polite interaction
- feed prepared meals/snacks (no cooking required)
- occasionally change diapers and assist with potty training when appropriate
- maintain nap/feeding routine & daily activity log
- follow a no-screen-time approach in line with our parenting style
- light tidying of play areas and organising toys/supplies
- occasional light cleaning related to childcare
- may accompany parents to activities when needed
Requirements:
- minimum 2-3 years of professional childcare experience (infant/toddler)
- at least 18 years old (preferably older) with a highschool diploma (early childcare education is a plus)
- strong, verifiable references from past employers
- CPR and First Aid certified
- knowledge of toddler safety and nutrition
- up to date vaccinations (including Tdap, flu, and COVID )
- ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies
- clean background checks (criminal and driving)

Position details:
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am - 3:30pm
Start date: end of October/early November 2025
Contract length: through mi-April 2026 (potential for extension)
