About Me

About Us:
Hi there! I’m looking for a lovely, trusted childminder who can look after my four-year-old daughter in their own home, as childcare would need to take place away from my family home. I’m ideally looking for weekend care on a Saturday or Sunday, from 10 am to 3 pm.
About My Daughter:
She is a happy, playful 4-year-old who has been diagnosed as autistic. Here is a little bit about her and how she communicates:
Communication: She is mostly non-verbal, though she uses a few words! She primarily communicates through hand-leading (taking your hand to show you what she wants or where she wants to go).
Care Needs: She is currently still in nappies, so comfortable support with nappy changing and personal care is required.
The Role & Schedule:
I am looking for someone to look after her every weekend on either a Saturday, Sunday, or both days (I am open to discussing what works best for your schedule).
Hours: Full daytime support, typically starting around 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM and finishing around 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
Frequency: Weekly.
Main Focus: Engaging her in fun activities, keeping her safe, assisting with snack/lunchtimes, and handling nappy changes.
Who I Am Are Looking For:
Preferably someone with experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) or autism care (or who is patient, proactive, and eager to learn her routine).
