About Me

My name is Cristina, and I am a registered childminder. I am originally from Brazil and have been living in the United Kingdom for 6 years with my husband and our baby boy. I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children can feel comfortable and thrive.
I believe in gentle care, respect, and encouragement to support children’s emotional and social development. My goal is to create a calm, homely atmosphere where little ones can play, learn, and grow at their own pace. As a mum myself, I understand the importance of trust and consistency in childcare, and I am committed to offering families peace of mind knowing their child is well cared for.

My Experience

I have experience working with children as a babysitter and as an au pair. These roles have allowed me to care for children of different ages, including a special needs child, support their daily routines, and plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage development and independence.

Through my experience, I have developed a strong understanding of children’s needs and the importance of providing a secure and supportive environment. I am trained in safeguarding and understand the principles of the EYFS framework, which guides my practice as I begin my journey as a childminder. I am dedicated to offering high-quality care where children can thrive, learn, and feel valued.
