About Me
I live in the lovely Leyton, a few steps away from lively and beautiful Francis road.
I have worked in Pharmacy for a while but I am not at all rusty with childcare as my partner's 8 years-old bright and energetic daughter is keeping me childcare-fit!
I find very exciting to look after babies and toddlers so I hope to find a job in that years range but I can work happily with older children.

My Experience
I have been a nanny for three different families in London for children ranging from 6 months old to 10 years old. I have always worked with children when I was back in Italy too, starting with my sister when I was 7 years old myself so it truly feels like a lifelong experience that I wish to keep alive.
I like to be outdoor with children anytime I can. I am nurturing and caring first and foremost. I care very much to incourage indipendence and resilience that fit the age and capabilities of every single child. I like to get involve in play as I were a child myself but I can be calm and firm when needed. Being able to set boundaries is important for children to feel safe and to support both their emotional and social development.
I also consider it important to keep regular communication with parents.
My Qualifications
I have A-levels grade A*- C and I have just completed a Certificate of Higher Education in Health Science with the Open University. I will continue in that path in some time and study further with the aim of working in teaching.
My Availability
I hope to find a family that needs regulare care - between Mondays and Saturdays but only one to two full days a week - so I can work in schools in support roles the other days of the week (this will be through agency).
I am looking for part time work also because I plant to study for childcare/ teaching support qualifications in my free time.
I am happy to do some ligh-chores when needed but only related to the children.
