About Me
I am a House Manager and work with a lovely family based in London. They are currently looking for a full time Nanny who is bilingual (ideally French).
My Requirements
This would be an ideal role for someone seeking a long-term position, who has a genuine love for working with school-aged children and babies, and who is proactive in supporting their learning and development. The family are looking for someone experienced and proactive who can take on sole charge duties. That said, mum will mostly be around during the day and dad works from home, so you’ll need to be comfortable with parents being present.
The little girl (6 years old) is a bright and independent child. She’s currently reading Harry Potter after finishing her Roald Dahl collection, and she loves playing tennis and learning chess. Her younger brother is equally charming, with a fun-loving personality and a great sense of humour. He enjoys tennis, building things independently, and adores spending time with his big sister, often following her around when he can. Both children are giggly, affectionate, full of energy, and love their baby sister. The 10 month old is calm, inquisitive and very happy.
The family are seeking a candidate to work five days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays, with flexibility regarding which three weekdays are worked. Typical working hours are 11am to 8pm during the week and 9am to 7pm on weekends, though some flexibility will be needed.
The position is to start immediately however the family are happy to wait to find the right candidate.
Job specification:
• Undertaking all daily nanny duties – sole and share charge
• Making sure the children are ready for school and have everything they need (mum typically does the school run)

• Taking children to playgroup / nursery / school
• Taking children on outings appropriate to their age and stage of development
• Supporting the oldest children with their homework and school projects
• Undertaking all nursery duties – laundry for the children, play areas, bedrooms, maintaining household areas and equipment etc.
• Providing well balanced and nutritious meals appropriate to the needs of the child/children, and the family
• Travelling with the family during school holidays, weekend visits etc
• Preparing for special occasions such as birthday parties
• Care for the family dogs when required; walking, feeding etc.
Candidate specification:
• Experience working with both babies and school-aged children is required
• A driver’s license is desirable but not mandatory
• Bilingual (ideally French) with fluency in English is required
• The successful candidate is required to hold a university degree
• The family are looking for someone upbeat, bubbly, proactive, and professional
