About Me
Hi, my name is Michaela. I am a 23-year-old postgraduate student from Ireland, studying Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes University. I am hoping to find nanny work in the area.
For my undergraduate degree, I studied Creative Writing, English, and Celtic Civilisation. During this time, I spent the Summers working as an aupair, in Greece, Italy, and Spain. After my undergraduate, I spent a year working as a nanny in Canada.
All of these have been incredibly valuable experiences, and have fueled my love for childcare. I am very good with children, and enjoy looking after them. I love playing games with them, spending time with them, and teaching valuable skills. Most of my experiences have been with very young children, aged 1 and 2.
I am a very responsible, caring person, who is also willing to take on housework and cooking, if needed. I love animals, and would be willing (and eager) to help look after any pets.

My Experience
I have worked as a short-term aupair for several Summers, in Greece, Italy, and Spain. In these placements, I aupaired for children from a wide variety of age groups - from 9 months to 14 years.
I also spent 10 months in Canada, working short-term nanny jobs. First in the Canadian Rockies, and then in Victoria BC. In these jobs I primarily looked after children aged 1 and 2, with some hours caring for a four-year-old.
My Qualifications
I have earned a First Class Honours degree in Creative Writing, English, and Celtic Civilisations at the University of Galway. I enjoyed the course greatly, as it allowed me to be creative, and knowledgeable in areas of literature, history, folklore and archaeology.
I am currently studying an MA in Creative Writing.
I have lots of professional childcare experience, and completed First Aid courses while in Scouts.
My Availability
I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and most of Sunday.
I am open to taking some early-morning work on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
