About Me
I'm Sara, a local mum living in Crookes. I have 5+years experience working with young people and I am a part time illustrator and comic artist, I'm very creative, enthusiastic and have lots of energy! I love outdoor activities such as hiking, horse-riding, running.
I'm french and Colombian and have been living in the UK for 12 years so I speak fluently french, English and Spanish.
I'm looking for 2 full days of nannying a week (or alternatively about 18h across the week) where I could bring my 19 month old son along. He's very sweet and loves going out and about and being around other kids.
My Experience
I have 5+ years of childcare experience. I was a live-in au pair in London for 3 years, plus many baby sitting gigs as well as wrap around care taking children to school and back from school. I was a volunteer for Step Out mentoring charity, mentoring a young person weekly for a year and providing weekly activities at a youth group for 2 years, as well as staying with young people in residentials around the country. I have experience with children of all ages and love working with young people!
I'm also a mum of a 19 month old boy so have recent experience with newborns and babies.
My Qualifications
Back in France I got my BAFA qualification which is a diploma to lead activities for children for summer camps and holiday centers.
My Availability
If I can bring my son along I'm available every weekday until 7pm. I'm ideally looking for 2 full days of nannying a week or about 18h across the week.
I can also occasionally babysit on evenings and weekends.
