About Me

Hi, I’m Emily — a reliable and caring babysitter based in Newbury. I’m currently a PhD student working at Harwell Science Campus.

Although I’m not DBS-checked yet, my university background and visa clearance mean I’ve passed official checks confirming I have no criminal record. I’m also happy to apply for a DBS if preferred by families.

My Experience

I have experience caring for children aged 5–12 and am happy to help with homework, bedtime, and light meal prep. I’m first aid aware and always aim to create a safe, calm, and fun environment where children feel comfortable and parents can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

My Qualifications

I completed a babysitting and childcare awareness course as a teenager and have since gained several years of babysitting experience. I’m currently first aid aware and familiar with safety principles. I’m happy to complete an updated childcare or first aid course if preferred by families.

My Availability

I’m free from around 6:30 pm on weekday evenings and most weekends for babysitting in Newbury and nearby areas I can reach by public transport.

Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My usual fee is £13–£15 per hour, depending on the number of children.
I offer discounted rates for regular families or extended sessions, and I’m always happy to discuss rates to find something that works for both sides.
