Nanny/Housekeeper wanted ~ Hybrid role for busy and professional family looking for a high quality candidate.

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nanny/Housekeeper/Mothers Help to support in our busy household to be employed directly full-time.

The ideal candidate will be excellent with children, dogs and proficient at basic household duties including cleaning, washing, ironing and general tidying/organising as well as some basic gardening duties.

This role requires flexibility, creativity, a positive attitude and good communication skills to effectively interact with both parents and children. The person may live in or out depending on their location. Live in will only be offered for someone who we feel is an exceptional candidate, the person will have their own private and secure accommodation in the grounds of the house.

Duties will include:
- Supervise and engage with 2 children in a variety of activities ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Babysitting 1-2 late nights per week
- Assist with homework and educational activities
- Help to prepare nutritional meals and snacks whilst promoting healthy eating habits
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding children’s progress, behaviour etc…
- Assisting with cleaning a large residential property
- Assist with Laundry
- Ironing
- Supervising dog when parents aren’t home

Qualfications/skills needed or desired:
- DBS Check or willingness to undergo one
- Proven experience in childcare - in a nursery/school setting preferred
- Proficiency of English
- A Valid Clean Driving Licence
- First aid and childcare qualifications (desired)
- Experience/qualifications in cookery (desired)
- Skills in a second language and or a musical instrument (desired)
- Experience of working in hospitality/care of households (desired)

Job Type - Full Time
Pay - Competitive salary £32,000 to £37,000 depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
Expected Hours - 40 Hours per week - days and times will vary but a schedule will be provided in advance. Opportunity for extra hours and pay may arise - to be agreed.
Work Location - In Person at the home

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible with training provided by our current Nanny/Housekeeper who is leaving at the end of Christmas to pursue a new business. The successful candidate will then begin on their own from January 2027.
