Hello, my name is Purnika, and I’m an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Hermitage Park, Maidstone (ME16).
My Experience
I provide a warm, welcoming, and nurturing home-from-home environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to learn through play. I have over 10 years of experience in childcare and hold a BA in Education, which has given me a strong understanding of early years development and the EYFS framework.
I’m also a mum to two lovely children aged 7 and 4, who both attend school. This helps me understand the daily routines, challenges, and joys that come with balancing work, school, and family life — something I reflect in the care and support I offer to every child in my setting.
My Qualifications
BA in Education – providing a strong understanding of early years development and learning
Pediatric First Aid trained – ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in my care
Ofsted-registered childminder
DBS checked
Safeguarding and Child Protection training completed
Food Hygiene Level 2
Regularly attend CPD (Continuous Professional Development) courses to keep my knowledge up to date
